CQU better than Bond? you must be joking. Due to the size of Bond and no government funding, her ranking is usually lower than most of public uni. BUT still ranks higher than CQU, check out here: http://www.australian-universities.com/rankings/, Bond in 32 compared to CQU in 38, in the case if private universities are counted.
For major ranking, such as Law or Business, Bond can be in Top 10 for sure.
